Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Sidoro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Mugurel Balaeț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armilla's Froilan Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davis Duff in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes in the game, Davis Duff dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Armilla's zone, Mugurel Balaeț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dimas came out of the goal and Mugurel Balaeț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergey Krasinskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eron Machado in the 11th minute of the match. Davis Duff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zamalek FC's Davis Duff got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Armilla got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Sidoro. Mugurel Balaeț struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Froilan Dimas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek FC. Froilan Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Balaeț in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Armilla's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Balaeț came free, but Froilan Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Krasinskiy got free with Froilan Dimas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes Armilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugurel Balaeț who took care of the corner kick. After 39th play minutes Mugurel Balaeț shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Froilan Dimas and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Mugurel Balaeț made the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Mugurel Balaeț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armilla's Froilan Dimas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Chunche Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidoro in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Zamalek FC's Mugurel Balaeț made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Armilla's Jean-Cyrille N'Diaye got a free kick in the 61st minute. Armilla's Froilan Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davis Duff in the 63rd minute of play. With his leg Rhys Dimmock managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Armilla's Dolfo Marcos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Froilan Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Balaeț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Dimmock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santiago Sidoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 68 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergey Krasinskiy in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 minutes Armilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugurel Balaeț who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mugurel Balaeț got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Froilan Dimas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 77 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Sidoro came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Armilla got a corner. Zamalek FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santiago Sidoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Armilla's Thiago Nueva to fire away a dangerous shot which Rhys Dimmock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Chunche Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chunche Montero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Sergey Krasinskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tytus Banaszak hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The long shot by Santiago Sidoro in the 91st minute really tested Rhys Dimmock's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sidoro in the 93rd minute of play. Zamalek FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Armilla for a fine match.
