Lidköping's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Björk in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Lidköping's corner Expedito Doctore fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 林鸿松 quite easily take care of the ball. 林鸿松 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Adam Mårtensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 林鸿松 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Stefan Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Debruyne got free with Kristoffer Västerstrand in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Debruyne charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Debruyne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Debruyne hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kevin Debruyne made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Per-Åke Myr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
