In the 4th minute Peter Roofhoof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minion Mim were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after FC Dalin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jasper Rosario took the corner. The corner led Minion Mim's Louis Tailleur to fire away a dangerous shot which Hoàng Tran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 8th minute, Joonatan Van Landewijck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorvald Mansel in the 10th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will Wipp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hoàng Tran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Roofhoof came free, but Hoàng Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Minion Mim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Wipp to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Ritchell in the 22nd minute of play. Joonatan Van Landewijck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Hoàng Tran made a huge save. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nghiêm Tong in the 24th minute of play. FC Dalin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorvald Mansel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Ritchell, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Joonatan Van Landewijck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hoàng Tran was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Ritchell in the 37th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Dalin booed when Minion Mim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Roofhoof didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joonatan Van Landewijck to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Joonatan Van Landewijck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hoàng Tran. FC Dalin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joonatan Van Landewijck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Minion Mim's Mitch Lauwers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Minion Mim from getting a goal against them. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Joonatan Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hoàng Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hoàng Tran came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck. But to his dismay, Joonatan Van Landewijck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Minion Mim getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Will Wipp hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Thorvald Mansel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dalin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorvald Mansel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hoàng Tran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 76th minute of play. The Minion Mim fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mitch Lauwers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thorvald Mansel in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorvald Mansel got free with Mitch Lauwers in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 84th minute of the match. Hoàng Tran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Wipp's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Thorvald Mansel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mitch Lauwers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
