Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emilio Jakue made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Bogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wlodzimierz Cipinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Bogren ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Bogren. Despite this Kristoffer Västerstrand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Deng Le Jian came free, but Kristoffer Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Adam Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidköping's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Cipinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wlodzimierz Cipinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wlodzimierz Cipinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Bogren went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wlodzimierz Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Bäckman in the 94th minute of play. After 94 minutes, Deng Le Jian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAIS and the Lidköping players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lidköping booed when GAIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deng Le Jian didn't get a good kick on the ball.
