FC MCM's Călin Prunaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. Călin Prunaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 8th minute. Viktor Axelsson took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Bétourne. Tristan Bétourne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Viktor Axelsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne. Tristan Bétourne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Novo came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pau Novo in the 26th minute of play. Royal PSG's Samuel Jouglet managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrei Murărașu in the 27 minute of the game. In the 29th minute Adrian Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Bétourne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Bétourne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Royal PSG were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after FC MCM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferhat Özsan took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 34th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Bétourne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Edoardo Filippini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's Samuel Izard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Izard in the 58th minute of play. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Izard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Cristi Maniu got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristi Maniu hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Royal PSG got a corner. FC MCM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferhat Özsan ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Samuel Jouglet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Andrei Murărașu made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cătălin Agulescu however managed to control. In the 79thth minute of the game Fred Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Royal PSG fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Royal PSG's Fred Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuel Izard took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Adrian Isbășoiu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tristan Bétourne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MCM. 89 minutes into the game, Royal PSG's Samuel Izard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Prunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. In the 91st minute, Vali Cârnu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Adrian Isbășoiu notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne. Tristan Bétourne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Royal PSG succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC MCM had controlled the match.
