VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Berceanu in the 43rd minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball.
