The crowd rose to their feet as Arif Çelebi Ergener kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Svante Stenqvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Ulf Nyman got a free kick in the 12th minute. Arif Çelebi Ergener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svante Stenqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Söderhall:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tours Football Club:s goal. In the 16th minute, Qi Yang Guang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Arif Çelebi Ergener ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svante Stenqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tours Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Söderhall defense, Arif Çelebi Ergener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Stenqvist. The Söderhall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Stenqvist should have stopped the shot. Lech Blochowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qi Yang Guang in the 34th minute of the match. Sven-Åke Alebeck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Söderhall:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Söderhall. The referee gave Tours Football Club a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustin Hamet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist. 5-1. Guy Jourdan made a great header on Tours Football Club's corner, it was just that Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Çelebi Ergener to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Ergener came free, but Svante Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny was substituted for Arif Çelebi Ergener. In the 67th minute Qi Yang Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Cyrille Jenny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Qi Yang Guang came free, but Lech Blochowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrille Jenny's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cyrille Jenny put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Svante Stenqvist. Tours Football Club's Christophe Régnault was substituted for Ulysse Houssais. Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyrille Jenny in the 86th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svante Stenqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tours Football Club had played much better football throughout.
