Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Bougault in the 24th minute of play. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Dagorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herblay's Antonin Dagorne managed to work through Valette Stars's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Antonin Dagorne dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 28th minute of the match. Armand Plaza hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Arnaud Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 32nd minute of play. Billy Magnin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Magnin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Herblay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valette Stars:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ludomil Kajdasz, was totally fooled by Valette Stars's Maurice Crochard, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Cadart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Pierre-Antoine Landemaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludomil Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rafail Rusev sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Magnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaud Konieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. Herblay were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Valette Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dimitri Bougault took the corner. When Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herblay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute Valette Stars were awarded a corner. Maurice Crochard went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Rafail Rusev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz did a great save. Ludomil Kajdasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 64th minute of play. When Herblay's Antonin Dagorne in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute, the referee gave Herblay a penalty. Antonin Dagorne looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Adrien Tanneau. Arnaud Konieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Adrien Tanneau made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Guillaume Chaine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ludomil Kajdasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Guillaume Chaine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomil Kajdasz came out of the goal and Guillaume Chaine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaud Konieczny's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Adrien Tanneau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Arnaud Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ludomil Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Chaine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Laurent Vilcot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valette Stars's Maurice Crochard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Herblay. 98 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Ludomil Kajdasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valette Stars succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Herblay had controlled the match.
