Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Henry Fagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Prunaru was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Pau Novo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Gunnarsson having to interfere. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Tunström in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 29th minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pau Novo's late challenge caught a Rönnöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pau Novo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Pau Novo got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Henry Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Fagerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Axelsson to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Fagerberg. After some careless play in the Rönnöfors FF defense, Viktor Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. The Rönnöfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 60th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. FC MCM's Vali Cârnu was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. Sten Hökqvist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cristi Maniu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Mangra in the 71st minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Cârnu in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Maxim Frumuzache got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per Stenberg took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MCM's Adrian Isbășoiu. But to his dismay, Adrian Isbășoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 94 played minutes, Rönnöfors FF's Sten Hökqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Călin Prunaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rönnöfors FF reached it.
