With a little luck, FC MCM's Călin Prunaru got control of the ball when Clas Nørstrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Michael Nordgren fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderhall's protests and gave Michael Nordgren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Söderhall getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Călin Prunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Söderhall. Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svante Stenqvist made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cătălin Agulescu sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Wrzosek came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qi Yang Guang's late challenge caught a FC MCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qi Yang Guang helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Söderhall got a freekick which was hit by Qi Yang Guang. FC MCM made a substitution. Vali Cârnu replaced Viktor Axelsson. In the 73rd match minute, Söderhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qi Yang Guang to maneuver through the defense. The Söderhall support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
