Yin Li Ying could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Călin Prunaru made a huge save. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Li Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Adrian Isbășoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pau Novo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Eintracht Cernavoda were awarded a corner. Philip Walter went to the cornerflag to take it. Philip Walter made a great header on Eintracht Cernavoda's corner, it was just that FC MCM's Călin Prunaru managed to reach the ball for a save. 29 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Pantiș. Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Isak in the 32nd minute of the match. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 37th minute of play. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Isbășoiu in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huey Bom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Corcoveanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Flavius Stanciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavius Stanciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eintracht Cernavoda's Emilian Bădulescu was substituted for Cristi Dulca. Eintracht Cernavoda's Codrin Izbașa was substituted for Mikael Isak. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Stanciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Agulescu. Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Izbașa in the 73rd minute of the match.
