Söderhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Wrzosek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrien Tanneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau got control of the ball when Clas Nørstrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qi Yang Guang got free with Adrien Tanneau in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Zygmunt Wrzosek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 21st minute of play. Clas Nørstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adrien Tanneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrien Tanneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafail Rusev in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Stenqvist saved Söderhall from getting behind. Svante Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 42nd minute of play. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clas Nørstrup in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Rafail Rusev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svante Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored Valette Stars's protests and gave Armand Plaza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valette Stars's Nelson Nogueira got a free kick in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Guillaume Chaine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Svante Stenqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Armand Plaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafail Rusev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Svante Stenqvist made a huge save. In the 89th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Söderhall's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
