After a rather tough play, VB-Team's César Sampaio got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yılmaz Başdemir made a kick off. In the 61st minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atalan Cebeci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
