When Luís Caeiro fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VB-Team's protests and gave Luís Caeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Caeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Wiktor Dahlman got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great ball. César Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Per Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Stenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 18 minutes on the clock, Wiktor Dahlman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Wiktor Dahlman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Hubert Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Stenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Joaquim de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Fagrell came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros. But to his dismay, Joaquim de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Edwin Ahlstedt. 37 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Stenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40th minute Shao Kun Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Per Stenberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Salgado. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Stenberg was the one to do the kick off. Hubert Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gervásio Severiano sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Joaquim de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Fagrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 64th minute. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenberg in the 67th minute of the match. Hubert Fagrell made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gervásio Severiano sent off a good shot on target. VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong was substituted for Luís Caeiro. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. The corner led VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Hubert Fagrell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hubert Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Ke Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Per Stenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell got control of the ball when Traian Hăvârneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute Traian Hăvârneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Jonasson. After 90 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Qiu Sheng Bang. After having played for 91 minutes, Per Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Stenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hubert Fagrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Traian Hăvârneanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 96 minute of play. The Rönnöfors FF players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
