Tanek Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Stenberg. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Tanek Zurawski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Henry Fagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Les Pionniers de Touraine's zone, Per Stenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Zurawski came out of the goal and Per Stenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Bertil Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Beauval in the 45th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Léon Sureau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Abraham Beauval made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
