Olle Olsson got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by James Batistuta. If Arif Çelebi Ergener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Fyfe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustin Hamet in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Arif Çelebi Ergener notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lech Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Faustin Hamet could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Glenn Fyfe however easily saved by the left post. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 31st minute of play. James Batistuta scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lech Blochowiak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tours Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guy Jourdan in the 44th minute. Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Glenn Fyfe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arif Çelebi Ergener had several of the A4p FC Gad's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Glenn Fyfe as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Arif Çelebi Ergener made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Fyfe saved A4p FC Gad from getting behind. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Koehler in the 63rd minute of play. Lech Blochowiak made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Alessandro Del Piero sent off a good shot on target. Arif Çelebi Ergener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenn Fyfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 73rd minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Jim-André Van Landschoot replaced Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Erasmo Damião replaced Iulian Berceanu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Busuioc got free with Lech Blochowiak in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 91 minutes into the match, Gică Busuioc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Blochowiak. Tours Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Busuioc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
