Dani Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bibby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Obree. In the 25th minute, Neville Wal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Todman in the 31st minute of play forced Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Martyn Patten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Cochrane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bibby in the 34th minute of play. Dennis Bibby in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dani Cochrane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jemmett Baba fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Australian Youth Academy's protests and gave Jemmett Baba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Jemmett Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dakota Gaffigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Manchester United F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s Fitz Bayne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dani Cochrane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United F.C.'s zone, Neville Wal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Patten came out of the goal and Neville Wal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Eddy Deveraux got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Dakota Gaffigan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamie Baba during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Baba to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Fitz Bayne came free, but Dani Cochrane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martyn Patten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olliver Todman in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
