But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Keegan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Aznar in the 16th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Skövde AIK booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Pettersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Aznar went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute of the match, Kevin Keegan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esteban José Andrada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kevin Keegan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Esteban José Andrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK.
