The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Guimarães got free with Dalmacio Pello in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cordearo in the 32nd minute of play. Tello AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Pastor Gitano scored to the left of an out of position Dalmacio Pello, making the score, 1-1. In the 42nd minute Uriel Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Though ot was a great shot Tello AFC's keeper Dalmacio Pello was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Celedonio Liberto charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Liberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Celedonio Liberto got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
