In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrián Espadas. Pastor Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. In the 26th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Neiva hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cássio Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Reis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Adrián Espadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Bernhard Kuinke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu was substituted for Pastor Gitano. Dan Wennerqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Reis went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes in the game, Răzvan Necula dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Guimarães in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Femke Bol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Femke Bol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dadá Macedo hit a great ball. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zézinho Neiva in the 87th minute. The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Femke Bol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Femke Bol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Bebeto Simão tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Femke Bol. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Figueira SC FSCMZ defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Femke Bol. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Femke Bol should have stopped the shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
