An unexpectedly hard shot by Qu Sen Yan in the 27th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qu Sen Yan took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atahan Balon. Atahan Balon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Atahan Balon came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Montserrat's Qu Sen Yan. But to his dismay, Qu Sen Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Owen came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Sen Yan in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Jesus Luke managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Los Muchachos del 86's Ricardo-Enrique Bochini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qu Sen Yan in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Erubiel Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Qu Sen Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Montserrat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qu Sen Yan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Brion made a kick off. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Salvador Orlanda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atahan Balon. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atahan Balon should have stopped the shot. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔光笑, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Atahan Balon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 崔光笑 in the 55th minute of the match. Salvador Orlanda hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Asiz Soon came free, but Jesus Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, 崔光笑 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jesus Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
