In the 6th minute, Nicolas Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 10 minutes, Nicolas Favoretto made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Arlindo Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Madrid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's Nicolas Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Arlindo Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho do Nascimento. After 41 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. After 43 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Arlindo Miranda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa did a great save. Arlindo Miranda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Camilo Freixa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Miranda in the 47th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Arlindo Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Arlindo Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Abreu. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Favoretto went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Nicolas Favoretto notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Nicolas Favoretto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Osvaldinho Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nicolas Favoretto scored 7-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Favoretto went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Favoretto in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. After 94 played minutes Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Trevisan. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF had played much better football throughout.
