Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Estavan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Estavan. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Herminio Loren sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Venancio Estavan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Herminio Loren took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Herminio Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Progreso Tres's Venancio Estavan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Progreso Tres's Evtim Chokoev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Palben, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evtim Chokoev who took care of the corner kick. Eugenio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 43rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 48 minutes of play, Progreso Tres's Herminio Loren made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when Progreso Tres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Aurken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Nevada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Esteve Palben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 60th minute, Candido Herces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nevada having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Loren scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Venancio Estavan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Herminio Loren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Loren in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Estavan in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evtim Chokoev who took care of the corner kick. Esteve Palben kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Progreso Tres.
