Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Fredriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schumacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of the match. The tension between the Peru and the FC Bullen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Merexildo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toni Schumacher. Toni Schumacher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 56th minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bullen from getting a goal against them. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 65th minute. The corner ended in Moises Gayoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher did a great save. FC Bullen made a substitution. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
