Edwin Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Pål Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Vjsk Youth Brooklyn booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rebeldino Rebec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pål Ferm. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 54th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ferm having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso de la Cruz got free with Pål Ferm in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Rebeldino Rebec got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 77th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Fontirroig got free with Pål Ferm in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Pål Ferm got control of the ball when Alfonso de la Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
