Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gralau's Hipolito Paz. But to his dismay, Hipolito Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wellington Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute Gralau were awarded a corner. Vitório Bittencourt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vitório Bittencourt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Hipolito Paz might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Paz ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Paz in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Gralau booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Costa Rica were furious when Alexander Carballo was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gralau's Vitório Bittencourt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Bertassi got free with Benito Sanz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Paz in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Wellington Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gralau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Bertassi got free with Benito Sanz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Paz in the 31st minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Hipolito Paz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ediberto da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Hipolito Paz had to leave the field with a concussion. After 40 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Armandinho Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Armandinho Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the game, Gralau's Wellington Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wellington Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gralau's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Armandinho Schmidt sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 66th match minute, Gralau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Erik Langbråten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gralau. The Gralau fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Gralau's Armandinho Schmidt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armandinho Schmidt succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Bertassi in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Armandinho Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gralau booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Bittencourt in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Wellington Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gralau fully deserved thier win.
