Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lanzenkirchen's Lucjan Bejger got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Bejger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Brummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. In the 93rd minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Åke Brummer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chile were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
