Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Espinosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Luciano Rodríguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Germano Espinosa. Luciano Rodríguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Espinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Germano Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Luciano Rodríguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Battal Seyyit Cihanser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adapazarı FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Espinosa having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Adapazarı FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Germano Espinosa. 80 minutes into the match, Adapazarı FK's Luciano Rodríguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Luciano Rodríguez made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Filippo Inzaghi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adapazarı FK. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adapazarı FK throughout the match.
