Smail Toumi charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Smail Toumi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over M. Dedy Suryana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. M. Dedy Suryana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arthur Napoleon Layne fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defence Force's protests and gave Arthur Napoleon Layne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Arthur Napoleon Layne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Rudranath de Freitas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Rudranath de Freitas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arthur Napoleon Layne hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Dedy Suryana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without M. Dedy Suryana having to interfere. Panama's Felipe Ros got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Felipe Ros off the ground. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Defence Force's M. Dedy Suryana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Defence Force was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orville Popo to maneuver through the defense. Defence Force's M. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chrrstine Magloire made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 54 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Chrrstine Magloire came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defence Force were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cornelius Ramkisson took the corner. After taking down the ball on Defence Force's corner Chrrstine Magloire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, M. Dedy Suryana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defence Force's goalie prevented a goal. Defence Force's M. Dedy Suryana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrrstine Magloire in the 66th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg M. Dedy Suryana saved Defence Force from getting behind. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. M. Dedy Suryana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Panama failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
