Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Mota in the 5th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toke Chute in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Gustavino Gómez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slawomir Czerwinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Mota. Slawomir Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toke Chute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavino Gómez hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Arnaldo Mota sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 42 minutes into the game, Eliézer Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Eliézer Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Slawomir Czerwinski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mário Amaral struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LRCA Office Club. With his leg Slawomir Czerwinski managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 69 minutes, Mário Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LRCA Office Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LRCA Office Club's Domingo Patrido was substituted for Mário Amaral. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavino Gómez was slow to take the kick. During this time LRCA Office Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LRCA Office Club's Gustavino Gómez to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. LRCA Office Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Slawomir Czerwinski. The goal made the score 3-1. LRCA Office Club's Maximilien Vaslin was substituted for Eliézer Leite. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After 98 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LRCA Office Club fully deserved thier win.
