But to his dismay, Matthias Zahn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Björn Michael capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Björn Michael really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Björn Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Angst vorm Ball's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Michael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Krabbe in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Matthias Zahn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 3-1. If Santino Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Michael in the 30th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Michael in the 30th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Zahn in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Joachim Krabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Björn Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Björn Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Zahn came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Angst vorm Ball defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens Schrape. The FC Angst vorm Ball fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens Schrape should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jens Schrape made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 74th minute of play. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jens Schrape made a huge save. Joachim Krabbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Zahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Steven Bachmayr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although FC Angst vorm Ball had been in control for most of the match, Colombia still came away with the win.
