Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniil Malysh started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of play forced Dinamo St. Petersburg's goalkeeper Aleksandr Arnautov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Arnautov having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniil Malysh got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksandr Arnautov having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Valentin Tarasov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Daniil Malysh came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniil Malysh 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Dinamo St. Petersburg's Daniil Malysh got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Daniil Malysh sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Malysh in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Malysh in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniil Malysh went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Daniil Malysh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Daniil Malysh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Malysh in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Dinamo St. Petersburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Arnautov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Felix Medvedev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Dinamo St. Petersburg's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aleksandr Arnautov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes Dinamo St. Petersburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aleksandr Arnautov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the game, Dinamo St. Petersburg's Valentin Tarasov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Dinamo St. Petersburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dinamo St. Petersburg had won after a very even match.
