The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rozen's zone, Mickey Clegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorg De Clerk came out of the goal and Mickey Clegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorg De Clerk made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mickey Clegg sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Jim Demeester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Bayford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Bauwens scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Warren Bayford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes Kensington F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daevy Figaro who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Kim Cheepers managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Quvelirs in the 37th minute of play forced Kensington F.C's goalkeeper Warren Bayford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren Bayford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart De Poorter, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Larry Maskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Warren Bayford was a little too slow when Jon Bauwens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 82nd match minute, Kensington F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Duke to maneuver through the defense. Rory Downs charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Downs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Kensington F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rory Downs. In the 91st minute, Rozen's Jon Bauwens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Warren Bayford. Warren Bayford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4.
