Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kensington F.C's Larry Maskell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Anatoliy Egorov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Warren Bayford. Kensington F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anatoliy Egorov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Kensington F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Innokentiy Portnov came free, but Warren Bayford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren Bayford came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Tula's Innokentiy Portnov. But to his dismay, Innokentiy Portnov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Zak Duke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rory Downs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kirill Hrometskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Afanasiy Gornostaev fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tula's protests and gave Afanasiy Gornostaev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kensington F.C booed when Tula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afanasiy Gornostaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kensington F.C's Larry Maskell got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Rory Downs made a precise shot to the right of Kirill Hrometskiy. Tula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rory Downs came free in the 27th minute and tried to tip the ball over Kirill Hrometskiy, but to the joy of Tula's supporters the ball went over. Warren Bayford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anatoliy Gripp went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Tula booed when Kensington F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frazer Hurst didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Rustam Anihanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Warren Bayford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rustam Anihanov took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Warren Bayford. Warren Bayford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Warren Bayford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rustam Anihanov in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Anatoliy Gripp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Warren Bayford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Tula were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 51st minute, Zak Duke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afanasiy Gornostaev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Larry Maskell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kensington F.C's Rory Downs got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play, Tula's Irakliy Belyakov made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Warren Bayford was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Ross Mawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afanasiy Gornostaev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Warren Bayford made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rustam Anihanov got free with Warren Bayford in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Kensington F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoliy Gripp came free, but Warren Bayford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Kensington F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Hurst to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Anatoliy Gripp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Bayford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Bayford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anatoliy Gripp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 76 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rustam Anihanov could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Warren Bayford however easily saved by the left post. Irakliy Belyakov hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Tula's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
