Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pitangeles's Vasile Ciorbea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicu Pătru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kensington F.C's Warren Bayford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kensington F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 11th match minute, Kensington F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Mortimer to maneuver through the defense. Moise Aldulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kensington F.C's Mickey Clegg got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nicu Pătru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Bayford having to interfere. Warren Bayford made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Codrin Drăgoescu sent off a good shot on target. If Rory Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Moise Aldulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitangeles and the Kensington F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moise Aldulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Kensington F.C's Frazer Hurst couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pitangeles. Octavian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Clegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Rory Downs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Vătăşel having to interfere. Remus Gâgea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Warren Bayford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Clegg in the 35th minute of play. Warren Bayford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Gâgea in the 38th minute of play. Vasile Ciorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mickey Clegg was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kensington F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Aldulescu came free, but Warren Bayford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragoş Herlea kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Kensington F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rory Downs hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Ciorbea in the 58th minute of play forced Kensington F.C's goalkeeper Warren Bayford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Codrin Drăgoescu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kensington F.C's Warren Bayford. Warren Bayford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Kensington F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Drăgoescu came free, but Warren Bayford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zak Duke fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kensington F.C's protests and gave Zak Duke a yellow card for diving instead. Zak Duke kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. During the 69th minute of the match Michael Mortimer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Mortimer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Michael Mortimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warren Bayford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Gâgea in the 73rd minute of play. Warren Bayford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Pătru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mickey Clegg's late challenge caught a Pitangeles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickey Clegg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Mickey Clegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Nicu Pătru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Rory Downs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kensington F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Codrin Drăgoescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mickey Clegg was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pitangeles booed when Kensington F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Clegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Warren Bayford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Pătru, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pitangeles players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
