But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reidar Toresen couldn't finish the play. Jonas Serigstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorg De Clerk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Reidar Toresen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alexander Schrøder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorg De Clerk was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Stephan Quvelirs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Albert Øverbø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, Gjæsvær BK's Reidar Toresen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Schrøder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. Rozen's Lennart De Poorter got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Kjartan Villanger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorg De Clerk skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reidar Toresen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jim Demeester left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rozen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Stephan Quvelirs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Quvelirs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Øverbø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Øverbø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennart De Poorter's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Marnix Beckers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rozen's goalkeeper Jorg De Clerk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stephan Quvelirs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Øverbø having to interfere. Stephan Quvelirs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Albert Øverbø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Reidar Toresen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorg De Clerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorg De Clerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reidar Toresen in the 76th minute of the match. Reidar Toresen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Jorg De Clerk 78 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Alexander Schrøder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorg De Clerk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Stephan Quvelirs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Quvelirs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Øverbø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rozen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gjæsvær BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Gjæsvær BK.
