Mürsel Okboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart De Poorter in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rozen's zone, Arkın Terzioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorg De Clerk came out of the goal and Arkın Terzioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lennart De Poorter hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Lennart De Poorter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Mürsel Okboğa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute of the game, Lennart De Poorter landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Arkın Terzioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Rozen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Quvelirs to maneuver through the defense. The Rozen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galatasaray's performance. The match ended with a win for Galatasaray.
