Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidar Toresen in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Vasile Ciorbea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Øverbø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicu Pătru in the 10th minute. Octavian Vătăşel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reidar Toresen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Gjæsvær BK got a freekick which was hit by Torjus Holmvik. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicu Pătru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albert Øverbø. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. If Codruț Luncaniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Pătru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicu Pătru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Øverbø having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Geir Alnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Vătăşel. Pitangeles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geir Alnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Alexander Schrøder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjæsvær BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitangeles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gjæsvær BK's Alexander Schrøder got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With his leg Albert Øverbø managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Pitangeles's Codrin Drăgoescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Octavian Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Alnes in the 37th minute of the match. If Vasile Ciorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Remus Gâgea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitangeles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 47th minute, Jonas Serigstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasile Ciorbea to make the kick off. Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidar Toresen in the 51st minute of play. Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pitangeles from getting a goal against them. Octavian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Schrøder in the 54th minute of play. In the 66th minute Geir Alnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Geir Alnes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavian Vătăşel. Geir Alnes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pitangeles from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel got control of the ball when Alexander Schrøder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reidar Toresen in the 77th minute of play.
