Octavian Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Pilsudski in the 10th minute of the match. The KONDOR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. But to his dismay, Tolek Kochanowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 42nd minute, Franciszek Dembowski made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Vătăşel. Pitangeles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Valdemar Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Vătăşel having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, KONDOR FC's Franciszek Dembowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Vătăşel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
