When Eugenio Nobili fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fontana's protests and gave Eugenio Nobili a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenio Nobili kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Kirby Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resolution's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirby Mathews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fontana getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Diego Raniolo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Nobili got free with Michale Coffey in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michale Coffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Raniolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fontana booed when Resolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Westbrook didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Florian Zola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michale Coffey was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Diego Raniolo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diego Raniolo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirby Mathews in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Federici saved Fontana from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kirby Mathews was the one to do the kick off. Mckinley Lee hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Florian Zola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michale Coffey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kirby Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirby Mathews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Federici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Diego Raniolo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Resolution's Michale Coffey. Michale Coffey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Resolution's Michale Coffey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Nobili in the 63rd minute of play. Fontana's Adriano Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirby Mathews in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fontana's Carmine Baratta got a free kick in the 89th minute. Adriano Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Donnelly in the 90th minute of the match. Kirby Mathews had several of the Fontana's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Adriano Federici as he didn't even see the shot coming. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
