In the 2nd minute Syd Ely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Stjohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syd Ely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Sullivan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Tobias Stjohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vlastaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Stjohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Syd Ely in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Syd Ely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Stjohn. Hazard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Syd Ely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Teddy Fair fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hazard's protests and gave Teddy Fair a yellow card for diving instead. Teddy Fair hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Henry Soussan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Stjohn skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Vlastaras in the 18th minute of play forced Hazard's goalkeeper Tobias Stjohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Stjohn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Syd Ely's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Tobias Stjohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Kaczanek, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tobias Stjohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charis Vlastaras went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Graciano Caneira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Jared Larson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Damon Dixon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hazard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whity Pool United the free kick. In the 40th minute, Damon Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charis Vlastaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Stjohn having to interfere. Charlie Sullivan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syd Ely in the 48th minute of play forced Hazard's goalkeeper Tobias Stjohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charis Vlastaras was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Stjohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Vlastaras in the 53rd minute of the match. Charis Vlastaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tobias Stjohn made a huge save. With a little luck, Hazard's Tobias Stjohn got control of the ball when Syd Ely tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Sheets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Melani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hazard's Val Burton got a free kick in the 65th minute. Whity Pool United made a substitution. Stan Wilson replaced Daniel Jenkins. Waclaw Kaczanek hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes of play, Whity Pool United's Charis Vlastaras made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Stjohn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waclaw Kaczanek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Whity Pool United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tobias Stjohn stood somewhat misplaced when Charis Vlastaras came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 75 minute. In the 78th minute, Charis Vlastaras made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Stjohn. Hazard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Gonzales in the 82nd minute of play forced Whity Pool United's goalkeeper Angelo Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Stjohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charis Vlastaras in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Hazard got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Sullivan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Vlastaras in the 87th minute of play forced Hazard's goalkeeper Tobias Stjohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Hazard's goalkeeper Tobias Stjohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rich Rushforth.
