The tension between the Resolution and the Pitangeles players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicu Pătru got free with Michale Coffey in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Marius Buricea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pitangeles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resolution the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pitangeles's Marius Buricea got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pitangeles's zone, Florentino Wynn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Vătăşel came out of the goal and Florentino Wynn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, François Spaulding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Octavian Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th play minute Nicu Pătru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michale Coffey. 1-4. Omar Donnelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Kirby Mathews, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Octavian Vătăşel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Florentino Wynn took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Vătăşel. Octavian Vătăşel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Remus Gâgea kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasile Ciorbea made a kick off. Manole Aristide struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Michale Coffey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pitangeles. With a little luck, Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel got control of the ball when Kirby Mathews tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Kirby Mathews made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Vătăşel. Pitangeles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. With a little luck, Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel got control of the ball when Kirby Mathews tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute François Spaulding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Shon Gregoire threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pitangeles's Codrin Drăgoescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Octavian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirby Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Remus Gâgea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirby Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
