Warren Bayford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Warren Bayford came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Dream Team FC's Gil Vargas. But to his dismay, Gil Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jerónimo Raminhos's late challenge caught a Kensington F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerónimo Raminhos helped the player get up and apologised. Mickey Clegg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Vicente Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Warren Bayford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Raminhos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Clegg in the 28th minute of play forced Dream Team FC's goalkeeper Vicente Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerónimo Raminhos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Bayford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Aquilino Póvoas's late challenge caught a Kensington F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Póvoas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kensington F.C booed when Dream Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Póvoas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rory Downs got free with Vicente Simões in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dream Team FC's Gil Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Kensington F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Mortimer to maneuver through the defense. If Jerónimo Raminhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warren Bayford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Vargas's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Rory Downs's late challenge caught a Dream Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rory Downs helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Kensington F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rory Downs. Jerónimo Raminhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mickey Clegg to make the kick off. Zak Duke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Simões having to interfere. Michael Mortimer kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kensington F.C's zone, Gil Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Bayford came out of the goal and Gil Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Rory Downs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerónimo Raminhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frazer Hurst kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Warren Bayford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Vargas in the 68th minute of the match. When Mickey Clegg fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kensington F.C's protests and gave Mickey Clegg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Mickey Clegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickey Clegg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Simões having to make a save. Vicente Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Clegg in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Clegg in the 75th minute of play forced Dream Team FC's goalkeeper Vicente Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Kensington F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Vargas came free, but Warren Bayford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren Bayford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Vargas in the 85th minute. Zak Duke kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Mickey Clegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Simões having to interfere. If Jerónimo Raminhos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kensington F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dream Team FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dream Team FC.
