With an all-out effort, Gjæsvær BK's Angelo Melani threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jon-Erik Leirdal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charis Vlastaras made a kick off. The tension between the Whity Pool United and the Gjæsvær BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gjæsvær BK booed when Whity Pool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesney Naisbitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-7 became the score in the 91st minute when Charis Vlastaras elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
