In the 24th minute, Potap Nazarov made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Federici. Fontana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 29 minutes, Enrico Lucentini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fontana and the Tula players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrico Lucentini hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Potap Nazarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fontana getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alexander Testi hit a great ball. Kirill Hrometskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Lucentini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Innokentiy Portnov's late challenge caught a Fontana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Innokentiy Portnov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Innokentiy Portnov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fontana's Enrico Lucentini got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Enrico Lucentini off the ground.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Zola to make the kick off. Florian Zola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Potap Nazarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Fontana's Florian Zola got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Potap Nazarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Anatoliy Gripp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Federici was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Tula's Anatoliy Gripp got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adriano Federici came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Tula's Anatoliy Gripp. But to his dismay, Anatoliy Gripp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 82 played minutes Tula got a freekick which was hit by Afanasiy Gornostaev. 87 minutes into the match, Fontana's goal looked a bit too open when Potap Nazarov came free, but Adriano Federici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Marinetti kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Adriano Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Potap Nazarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tula's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
