Paşa Savtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Michale Coffey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jed Parizeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mürsel Okboğa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Resolution getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Shon Gregoire hit a great ball. Michale Coffey was a little too slow when Onuralp Ekincioğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Salih Tolunay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michale Coffey came out and tried to block the shot, but Salih Tolunay slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Onuralp Ekincioğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray's Salih Tolunay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michale Coffey. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 29th minute, Galatasaray's Paşa Savtekin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The supporters of Resolution booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Tülün didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salih Tolunay in the 35th minute of play forced Resolution's goalkeeper Michale Coffey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Resolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Chalut didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paşa Savtekin to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Resolution defense, Onuralp Ekincioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michale Coffey. The Resolution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michale Coffey should have stopped the shot. Michale Coffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paşa Savtekin in the 54th minute of the match. Jed Westbrook came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mürsel Okboğa could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Resolution defense, Paşa Savtekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michale Coffey. The Resolution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michale Coffey should have stopped the shot. Resolution's Michale Coffey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuralp Ekincioğlu in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers François Spaulding in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mürsel Okboğa saved Galatasaray from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Marc Chalut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resolution's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray the free kick. Jed Westbrook scored 7-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mürsel Okboğa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michale Coffey came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Paşa Savtekin. But to his dismay, Paşa Savtekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jed Westbrook got free with Mürsel Okboğa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paşa Savtekin took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michale Coffey. Michale Coffey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. A collision led to Resolution getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Philip Gustafson hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Aşır Kuman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Resolution's Michale Coffey didn't even have to move.
