A very good chance. Teddy Fair hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Teddy Fair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Octavio Gold notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Konyaspor's Hüseyin Turan Sinan. Hüseyin Turan Sinan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charlie Sullivan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Stjohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Kamer in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Hazard got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Fair. The audience thought a goal was coming when Süreyya Yiğitoğlu got free with Tobias Stjohn in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Stjohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Süreyya Yiğitoğlu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th match minute, Konyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzhan Yalazan to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Jared Larson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Konyaspor's Hüseyin Turan Sinan. Hüseyin Turan Sinan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 played minutes Konyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mecnun Savaş. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Broussard couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Oğuzhan Yalazan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Stjohn. Hazard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oğuzhan Yalazan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruhi Kamer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jared Larson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Jared Larson notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Konyaspor's Hüseyin Turan Sinan. Hüseyin Turan Sinan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Omar Broussard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hüseyin Turan Sinan was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Hazard's Omar Broussard managed to work through Konyaspor's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Omar Broussard dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Konyaspor booed when Hazard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Fair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hüseyin Turan Sinan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Broussard in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hazard's Teddy Fair got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute, Sal Boyles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Abdi Kutsoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Stjohn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
