Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon-Erik Leirdal kicked off to start the match. If Reidar Toresen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Downs charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Downs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rory Downs hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Mickey Clegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Mickey Clegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Øverbø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kensington F.C's Warren Bayford got control of the ball when Reidar Toresen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Zak Duke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kensington F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gjæsvær BK the free kick. Zak Duke kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kensington F.C! After 20 played minutes Kensington F.C got a freekick which was hit by Michael Mortimer. After having played for 23 minutes, Rory Downs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kensington F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Downs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Larry Maskell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Albert Øverbø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Gjæsvær BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Downs came free, but Albert Øverbø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reidar Toresen during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Jon-Erik Leirdal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Warren Bayford. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Rory Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Maskell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kensington F.C's Warren Bayford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vebjørn Nedrebø in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Larry Maskell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Albert Øverbø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Kensington F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Clegg. Ole Meling hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Warren Bayford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Erik Leirdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Larry Maskell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kensington F.C's zone, Geir Alnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Bayford came out of the goal and Geir Alnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon-Erik Leirdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Bayford having to interfere. Warren Bayford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reidar Toresen in the 79th minute of the match. Rory Downs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rory Downs got free with Albert Øverbø in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Kensington F.C's Rory Downs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Øverbø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 92 played minutes Kensington F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ross Mawson. The supporters of Gjæsvær BK booed when Kensington F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Clegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jon-Erik Leirdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gjæsvær BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Erik Leirdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Warren Bayford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
