Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Selby FC's Max Paull started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kirby Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Than, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Selby FC got a freekick which was hit by Max Paull. 13 minutes into the match, Selby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Hoang came free, but Kirby Grieve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evan Dowling scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Phuoc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hoang in the 20th minute of play forced Selby FC's goalkeeper Kirby Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zackery Tout kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Max Paull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Phuoc having to interfere. Nguyễn Hoang took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirby Grieve. Kirby Grieve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Than in the 39th minute of play forced Selby FC's goalkeeper Kirby Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirby Grieve came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Bạc Li's Nguyễn Than. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Than quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 46 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Than had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kirby Grieve. Selby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Than was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Bạc Li were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Hoang to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hoang in the 54th minute of play forced Selby FC's goalkeeper Kirby Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Cong Vinh in the 55th minute of play forced Selby FC's goalkeeper Kirby Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Bạc Li's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Dowling came free, but Trần Phuoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Max Paull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Selby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Võ Cong Vinh came free, but Kirby Grieve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kirby Grieve was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nguyễn Hoang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 73 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nguyễn Thuy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kirby Grieve. That made the score 1-6 in the 76 minute of play. A collision led to Bạc Li getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dương Lien hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Selby FC's goalkeeper Kirby Grieve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Than. If Max Paull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Phuoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowrey Woodbridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bạc Li played a much better game than Selby FC and deserved their victory. The Selby FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
