After a rather tough play, Germany11's Danilo Brozulat got a free kick in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niclas Thiede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Germany11 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Philipp Schmidhuber hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, David Keute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany11! Niclas Thiede had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo Espiga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute of the game David Keute made a throw-in which Pit Mögle played forward. With his leg Niclas Thiede managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes in the game David Keute did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pit Mögle. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when David Keute made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Honduras booed when Germany11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Krupp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Moises Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niclas Thiede saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Christian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany11's Niclas Thiede did a great save. In the 93rd minute Pit Mögle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
